*Randalls started in a shed at Turners Flat (just 20 minutes outside Kempsey up river) in 1965 by Graham Randall, doing minor office equipment repairs. In 1967 he moved the operation to his garage in Rudder Street before commencing as a retail outlet in Belgrave Street where the new Kempsey Central is located. This is where he and his wife Dianne spread their operations to include office stationery supplies. They then relocated to store to 7 Smith Street where their office supplies retail operations expanded with Dianne concentrating on sales and going on the road as a sales rep expanding their sales area from just Kempsey to more of the mid north coast.
Graham focused on his sales and repair of photocopying machines as he was a qualified copier repair person. He retained this side of the business after he sold Randalls Business Equipment to Marlene & Greg Kesby and John Supple in 1983. Marlene Greg and John also expanded their sales areas and grew the store and range of office supplies and equipment to include printers, cartridges, toners as well as an extensive range of paper based office supplies.
In 2014 Marlene, Greg and John on sold the business to the current owners, Robert and Kerry Mackay who are carrying on with extending our range of current office supplies, equipment and furniture, both in home office and commercial office equipment. Kerry has an extensive background in retail as a past manager of St.George Bank both in Kempsey and Port Macquarie. Robert has an extensive background in Australia Post operations and both are keen to assist you with all your office needs. Four of the staff employed by Marlene and Greg came across with the new owners to the new larger location now situation at 41 Forth Street Kempsey.
